You were created to know God in a personal way – a relationship, not a religion. A relationship with God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

If you give us the next 10 minutes, your life can be changed…for ever! God has created you so that you can have a personal relationship with Him. But because of our sin, that relationship is not possible. And the more we try to draw near to God through our own means, the more frustrated we become. Even to the point of despair. But there is GOOD NEWS! You see God knows that there is nothing that we can do to earn our way into this relationship with Him. There is no religion, no customs, no traditions or good works that can get you this relationship with Him. That is why God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to save those that cannot save themselves. This is called the “Good News” or the “Good Message”. This is what is called the GOSPEL.

What is this GOSPEL message?

The word gospel means “good news” and is explained by the following six key truths of the GOSPEL Message.

So now that you know what the GOSPEL is, what should you do?

Would you like to respond?

Realize that you are a sinner

As much as you want or try to be “good” or to try to “please” God. There is nothing you can do to escape the fact that it is your sin that is the problem. Scripture tells us that we ALL have sinned (Romans 3:23).

Recognize that Jesus has paid the price for your sins

This truly is the good news! Scripture tells us that even while we were still sinners, Christ dies for us (Romans 5:8). Jesus was punished for our sins, so that we could be forgiven.

Repent of your sins

Repentance means a change of direction. It is not just saying that you are sorry, but it involves a change of mind and of life. Repentance is turning AWAY from your sins and turning TOWARDS Christ. Scripture says that if we repent of our sins (turn away) and turn to God, then our sins would be wiped away (Acts 3:19)

Receive Christ as your Lord and Savior

Scripture says that we must confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and that we must believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead then we would be saved (Romans 10:9).

Repeat this prayer…

Lord Jesus, thank you for paying the price of my sins on the cross and rising from the dead to save me. I confess that my sins have separated me from your love and presence in my life. I turn from my sins and I ask for your forgiveness. From this day forward, help me to live according to your will, and let me be a testimony of your mercy and grace. In Jesus name I pray…AMEN!
